I became vegan 18 years ago. Trust me when I tell you…I miss my mother’s pigtail w/ rice & peas.
When ever I would consume any type of meat I would get extremely ill. I tried to consume organic meats, thinking this was the better option. It was not.
I was getting very ill and grew tired of forcing my myself to get better, while consuming what I knew was making me sick. Meat.
So I chose to listen to my body.
I have not looked back since. I went cold turkey with some heavy bumps down the road. Still standing and functioning well today. I made the decision to make people’s journey to eating healthier easier, by cooking vegan meals for other’s.
